Sandy Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of pets in need. It provides assistance to families in financial distress as well as aid in connecting them with spay and neuter services. If a family’s need is greater than what Sandy Paws can provide, it will assist with finding the pet or pets a new home. Sandy Paws Rescue also helps pets at risk of euthanasia in high-kill shelters.
You do not need to adopt a pet to make a real difference. Here are ways to help:
Share adoptable dogs on social media
Share posts from the Sandy Paws page on social media and local community pages.
Include a short note about why a dog caught your eye, why you think they matter, and/or why someone should stop scrolling and pay attention.
Help spread the word about fostering in your community
Sandy Paws is always in need of foster homes in its service areas. People can help by asking local businesses if they will hang a flier up. Sandy Paws will provide the fliers and cover the cost of printing.
Be a donations hub, or help with pickups
Become a temporary donation drop-off location in your area, and/or help pick up donated items and bring them to a Sandy Paws isolation facility, or to foster supply locations. If you have space, time, or access to a vehicle, this makes a direct, tangible impact on dogs currently in foster care.
You do not need to foster, adopt, or make a monetary contribution. You just need to be willing to help in ways you can. If you would like more information, please visit sandypawsmv.com, or on Facebook facebook.com/SandyPawsRescue.
