A one-car crash stalled traffic on Barnes Road off of Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road Tuesday. Oak Bluffs police, fire and EMS responded.
The car, a red SUV, had to be pulled out of the trees off the road. The front of the car was smashed in and airbags were deployed.
Oak bluffs Firefighter Alicia Rabbitt said the car bounced off a tree and got stuck in the brush.
Rabbitt said the man who was driving was outside the vehicle talking on his phone before ambulances arrived.
